Future Leaders Programme

Overview

An all-new format that will help define our industry's next generation of leaders

An All-New Exclusive Programme for Your Future Leaders

The core mission of the FLP – Future Leaders Programme – is to prepare the next generation of our industry’s leaders for the challenges they’ll face when they reach the C-suite, and to create a professional network that will accompany their whole careers.

In 2022, we launched a new format for the FLP, with 50 participants participating in a series of virtual sessions from January to June, and an in-person module at the Global Summit.

For the 2023 edition, The Consumer Goods Forum is partnering with key players in our industry to bring the same high-quality virtual lessons, as well as new CEOs working sessions, on the most relevant topics around today’s challenges: What are the impacts of the ongoing crises on business objectives, and how to balance short-term constraints while keeping an eye on the vision ahead? What are the new leadership skills needed to face these new challenges? How can we ensure sustainability is embedded in a company’s strategy, allowing not only businesses to thrive but also people and the planet?

We are all facing the same uncertainties. To overcome these challenges together, sharing knowledge and exchanging with peers is even more crucial: no company will succeed alone. The 2023 Class of 50 carefully-selected future leaders of our industry will interact over several months and will meet in person at the Global Summit in June in Kyoto, Japan.
